Earthmoving machines
Smaller cabins heat rapidly, and the front-mounted condenser is exposed to debris and stone damage.
Dozing generates dust directly ahead of the machine, and track vibration is severe on mountings, hoses and electrical connections.
The condenser shares a confined engine bay with hydraulic oil coolers, so airflow restriction and oil mist fouling reduce cooling capacity in high ambient conditions.
Very large glass areas create high solar heat load, and haul-road grading places the cab in a constant dust cloud.
Small cab volume heats and cools quickly but has little tolerance for airflow restriction or a marginal charge.

Low travel speeds limit natural condenser airflow, and indoor or yard dust loads filters steadily.
