Mining equipment AC maintenance checklist
A practical inspection checklist for maintenance teams running mixed heavy-equipment fleets.

Cabin filter condition, pressurisation filter condition, condenser cleanliness, belt tension and condition, visible hose chafing, drain hose clear, blower operation on all speeds.
Quarterly
High and low side pressures under load, cabin outlet temperature, clutch engagement, control panel function, seal and door alignment inspection, leak inspection with detector or dye.
Annually or before the hot season
Full performance test, refrigerant charge verification by weight where recovery is practical, evaporator core cleaning, electrical connector inspection, review of repeat faults per machine.
Recording findings
Record outlet temperatures and pressures per machine so trends are visible. A machine that loses two degrees each quarter has a leak, even while it is still 'working'.
